Lillie

Lillie sought adventure from the start. Among her brothers and sisters, she was the first to toddle away from the nest, discovering what was behind a rock. She was eager to fly as soon as her feathers started to come and tried to ride the gentle breezes, only to painfully crash in a clump of bamboo. Soon, it was discovered that she had unusually weak, fragile wings and that it would take extra effort for her to fly. She grew incredibly frustrated to see her siblings soaring in the sky without her and almost gave up until she met Aldrich, a fellow flightless hatchling. They became best friends and motivated each other until, finally, they both were flying. Lillie quickly left to travel about Sornieth, travelling many places, riding different air currents and satisfying her ever-constant curiosity, but always returning to the Windswept Plateau, where she lives when she wasn't traveling.

Lillie’s adventurous nature doesn't apply to social situations, as she is quiet, shy. She is quite docile, preferring to listen to others speak, than voice her own opinions. Her quiet company is very pleasant and her friends dearly love her. Lillie’s biggest pet peeve is her childhood friend, Aldrich, who teases and flirts with her incessantly, often causing her to blush and be very embarrassed. She knows his intents aren't malicious and he still remains a good friend of hers but Lillie also finds herself evading him. She is quite humble with compliments and to be repeatedly told how beautiful she is or how her wings sparkle in the sunlight often makes her wish to hide, or better yet, to soar on a warm breeze where she doesn't have to bother with what others think of her.

While she loves her friends and home, Lillie is a restless soul who is happiest in the air traveling to a new place. Her favorite haunt is the Viridian Labyrinth, with its beautiful colorful blossoms and light, pleasant rain showers. Lillie loves rain and is sometimes found dancing in it, weaving in between the raindrops in complex aerial acrobatics. When she is tired, she sits under a shady tree (or a giant fern) and listens to the sound of the rain as it lulls her to sleep, so peaceful and calm in such a loud, hectic world. She loves how, after a particularly refreshing rainstorm, that a beautiful jungle can become even more vibrantly green.

Lillie been told more than once that she looks like a tropical butterfly flitting around the blossoms, perfectly belonging in the colorful, beautiful jungle. Lillie is quite shy about her fragile butterfly wings and it always makes her very happy when Aldrich can make it sound like it's not unusual. Even if he is embarrassing, he will always be her best friend. Lillie loves her life, her world and the adventures waiting for her every day.
