.. Acacia considered herself to be lost. Lost to time, lost to others, lost to being awake, being alert. She finds herself fascinated by concepts that others might find unsettling or that they might rather avoid. Previously, she would take up disguises to trick people into thinking she was something other than what she was. It wasn't that she did it deliberately, more like she got tired of herself and wanted a change from her constant. Something that she could use to live somewhat of a fuller life.

Her high position of authority didn't help the facade she had taken on as her own despite how much she found enjoyment in it. Those who followed her leadership began to disrespect her, leaving her eventually to a different kind of power. One that was more steady and reliable.

Despite the dissatisfaction she felt in the face of reality, she accepted the people's opinion that served her. In their best interest, as she had already lost them, she left her tribe, leaving someone she knew could help them in charge instead.

It occurred to her that she didn't have anywhere to go to, isolation was always a choice but she enjoyed people too much not to be in their comfort. Their presence. Being from a higher descent however, she couldn't just go anywhere either. Her nature had never been necessarily violent save for one of her personalities one time. Although she found that it didn't suit her much either and soon enough abandoned it.

Acadia was offered a chance of redemption soon enough upon encountering a lone plague clan. Her deal was that if she stopped refusing to acknowledge all that had happened and began anew, she could stay and be provided for. They'd even treat her as her standing was fit. Seeing it as too good of an opportunity to pass up, she accepted it with welcome arms.

Though it was dreadfully difficult to find out who she really was after changing herself so many times, she made her best effort. Something that wasn't quite usual to her though she didn't object to trying to find it out.

Her pursuits lead her to a dragon who called himself Luxe. She found herself confiding in him slowly, he seemed to think very highly of himself and she found his embellishments rather charming in an odd way. She came to confide in him over time, growing fonder as he helped her figure out what kind of person she truly was considering she didn't know the first thing about really existing. About being alive.

Eventually, their courtship became much more than that, confidence became support and like became strong attraction bordering on love. Luxe took her on as a mate eventually, trusting her opinion over others. While the clan had no idea why they were together, they found the match quite endearing. Luxe would never let them forget it either.
