Hello! I'm Eri, a former Arcane veteran, Dominance Team Member, proud Starseeker, co-founder of the Arcane Prisms, brain-parent of the Arcane artist hub, idea-spinner, and a driving force behind Accessibility for Arcane! I was born dfab and fall under the trans/non-binary umbrella, having once been strictly transmale, but no longer align to 'traditional' or binary genders. I’m trans*, queer, mixed/indigenous, pagan, and have both a personality disorder and a spiritual identity that people can’t seem to be mature or culturally sensitive about.
I am severely anxious, somewhat socially withdrawn, and operate on a limited supply of spoons, but I'll always do my very best to help you or point you to someone who I think can!
I live on the gulf coast, so coastal life and nautical things are very near and dear to my heart! I'm also witchy and spacey and am privileged to have known many great people working within Mission Control and to have sat within it myself many a long hour.
I grew up experiencing decent challenges being a queer mixed-indigenous person, and racism is a thing that I encountered a lot as a child in a white-centric community, and even now there are related matters that weigh on me.
Being a disabled and chronically ill trans person has also been a subject of extreme struggle for me, as there is not a lot of awareness I think for the kinds of discrimination we face and the extremely toxic attitudes we get in our own community for having health reasons that prevent us from transitioning or even doing things like wearing compression shirts. Unfortunately, the most hate and harassment I get to this day is from people within the community gatekeeping. Here has been no different and led to a 4-year hiatus.
One day I hope to live in a world where people are more understanding and considerate of the range of peoples experiences and the factors therein.
