Biography

Local Clan Cryptid
she/her agender, asexual/aromantic

tumblr_inline_nqtzefpyFd1rbt5in_500.png

Sighted at least once or twice every summer/fall. Described as an enormous monster, usually spotted emerging from the unnaturally deep swamp waters, underbelly and talons covered in moss and mud.

Her muddy tracks found frequently in the outskirts of town, and sometimes near the carnival. She's called Bogfoot after these enormous muddy tracks.

The Bogfoot Curse: Completely made up by the clan members to scare and amaze visiting and neighboring clans(and also to give Bogfoot privacy). According to the curse, if the mud tracks are followed, they will loop until you are lost in the clutches of Bogfoot. Those who seek her never return.

Really, Bogfoot is just a little (enormous) old lady who likes live on her own. She is happiest in solitude, with only her grandson Mothball to keep her company. She gets too nervous around anyone else. The old girl isn't spooked by anything more than a stranger.

Dorothy hunted her down and captured her, only to find out she was just an old reclusive sweetheart. Bogfoot has since then become good friends with Dorothy, and loves to listen to her theories:the crazier, the better!

She is experienced in the crafts of pottery, painting, and ceramics. She gathers her clay and ingredients for glazes and paints from the forest/swamp around her. Her work is beautiful, and Mothball will often go to the carnival to sell them for treasure and supplies.
