Ryuki

Deep within the lost wilds of the Southern Icefield a forgotten warrior stumbles though the blinding blizzard. His hide bears the heavy weight of congealed ice, and he's long lost the will to shake himself free of the white burden. If he keeps walking he will one day reach the ocean, he tells himself numbly. He has long since lost the desire to actually reach his goal, and should he reach the empty waters he would likely turn around and start walking again.

Around his body the remnants of his original captivity that brought him to this deadly land, he barely recognizes that the steel is burning cold. Around his arm, the symbol of his captors, binding his life to their magic. Around his waist is a small trophy that he won from a Yeti. At his side, a guiding light to keep him from the deep ice snares of the Snowsquall Tundra.

The wind whips the snow up into a blinding freezing fog again, and the sight of the forgotten Wildclaw is gone.
