The Former Royal Scientist,
Now replaced by Alphys.
He/They/It
No one knows Gaster's personality. As a matter of fact, no one remembers him at all. The only thing people seem to remember is how he died, killed by his own invention. How sad. There might be one person who still remembers him, though...
Gaster speaks with body and sign language, as well as incomprehensible chatters. Gaster has tried to write before, but even his letters are unknown symbols. Back when Gaster was still alive, people often called him Wingding, since he behaved so wild and strangely. Most people called his odd way of writing "Wingding's writing," or "Wingdings" for short. He became well known from this nickname, so much so that even his peers called him "W.D. Gaster."
He was usually seen smiling when he was alive, but now his face seems to be stuck in a more haunting grin.
Gaster may have been ripped from time and space itself by his invention, but despite everything, he still seems to be able to come back as a spirit from time-to-time. A certain dragon tends to run into him in the weirdest places, but another dragon seems to be trying their hardest to remember that Gaster once existed. It seems that the latter dragon is successful with that task.
When he manages to step into the mortal plain, he gets scared very easily. He knows that he's not supposed to be there, and will disappear as soon as he's spotted. I wonder if he's friendly...
Even when he's not on the mortal plain, he is omnipresent. He cannot influence the world, only listen and watch.
