son of the windsinger | determined, courageous, excitable

Arlowe's always dreamed of the skies. He was born in the wake of the Windsinger to a mother both distant and neurotic, his love never quite enough to reach her. In his youth he would make her smile through his uncanny ability for impressions: a little lyre, she called him, or so he ever wanted to believe she meant lyre and not liar. Despite how large Arlowe's imagination was, he was always reminded of his wings that were stunted from birth. As he aged, it became clear they were too malformed for him to ever fly, and the horizons became like a siren's song — and somewhere beyond it, his father. Thus Arlowe poured himself into invention and engineering. Through numerous trials he built himself a set of wing prosthetics that allow him to remain airborne. It was only the beginning, and Arlowe's inventive mind is always ticking to improve the world around him. He has recently left his childhood home in the Steppes to follow in the Windsinger's footsteps in a tour of Sornieth. Determined to see each god's heart city and to someday gaze upon his father's face, Arlowe follows nothing but a map and his heart, tinkering his way through the regions.
