At an early age, Elyndora only knew of her sister, Kalira. Their brother, Hans, had left the clan to seek out his charge. The two sisters would always be found together. Usually out following their father, Toorop. Instead of scolding them for following him on dangerous hunts, he thought them everything he knew: trapping, hunting, fishing, scavenging, you name it, he taught it.
Sadly, during a hunt for a loose Emerladback, the sisters found themselves caught between a Wendigo and her cub. Both dragon and beast passed away, leaving Elyndora and the cub alone, scared and in complete shock. Toorop found them just as dusk hit, both Ely and the cub huddled together for warmth. Without asking, the wildclaw gathered both and took them home. For a while Ely refused to hunt with her father, instead she stuck close to her mother's side, learning all the ways she knew in saving a life. Almas, natural healer of the clan, speaker for the beasts. She saw pain and distrust in her daughter when she was brought home. Knowing that if she didn't step in now, her daughter would be just as lost, as her other daughter was. Almas taught her daughter the ways of speaking to the beast clans, how to heal minor wounds and what can and cannot be used for medical purposes. |

Being raised around beasts most of her childhood, Ely picked up their way of speech first, then learned common at an older age. Due to this, her common isn't as refined, but the comprehension, read and writing are excellent. She will for go talking in favor of hand gestures and Beast. (This consists of a assortment of animal noises, ranging from a whale to a small feeder bird). It isn't uncommon for her to go without speaking common for months at a time. Most of the clan members got used to talking to her and getting no response, a side from a shrug or a stare. Learning all that she could from her parents, Ely gathered her gear and set out alongside her trusty familiar into the open world. She had only one goal: find her Charge. |
