.. ▍ABOUT
Eclipse and Adras are guardians and warriors, who have sworn fealty to Casdis and the clan. However their true calling is as Shade hunters, pursuing remnants of corruption and rooting it out. Both are fierce and dedicated fighters, absolutely committed to the cause and to each other. But while Adras is idealistic and tends to see the good, Eclipse will always play devil's advocate, and look for the worst possible outcome.

It would seem that a shadow and a water dragon would not have ideal alignments for hunting the Shade. In response, Eclipse would say that those who walk the darkest paths know them best; Adras would inform you that the darker flights are not Shade aligned. Rather the Shade is a consuming and corrupting force, while most magic is true neutral. Then she would lecture about their noble cause at length, while Eclipse looks on in bemused fondness. Eclipse tends to have a darker more pessimistic attitude than her girlfriend, but she loves Adras for her nobility and optimism.

NAMESAKE/ETYM.— an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer or between it and its source of illumination.
RELATIONS— ADRAS (girlfriend)
TRIVIA—
• Eclipse's magic is in perception and traps; she is excellent at spotting shade corruption and isolating it
• The Shade hunters prefer to fight physically, as they believe that using magic encourages Shade corruption. Rather they use physical and spiritual methods of purification
• For all her pessimism, Eclipse is not actually a negative dragon. She rarely voices her perspective, prefering to let Adras speak
• Her secret pleasure is creating shadow puppets for her girlfriend. They give them silly voices and act out stupid scenarios.
