B I O G R A P H Y

Jade is a new recruit in the clan, discovered by Kai when he was out collecting birds. They bonded over their mutual collections - Jade has a passion for bones and taxidermy, and a magic that is strong in reanimation. When she has gathered a complete skeleton (or a couple of partial skeletons) she will string them together with wire and display them.

As a craftsdragon, her role in the clan is to create items for export, and her skill lies in nature spells and trinkets. Her most popular items are small, reanimated animal skeletons, capable of following simple instructions and travelling a short way. Although usually kept for novelty value, they can carry messages and complete simple tasks, and they have the decent lifespan of two or three years.

Reanimation (called necromancy by some) is not a highly popular or trusted art, however most dragons recognise that Jade’s abilities are limited and are unlikely to pose a danger. She does keep a shelf for particularly vitriolic hate letters though.
