Although he is an Arcane dragon, Draugr is obsessed with Plague. As a young dragon, he wandered from his home in the Starfall Isles into the Scarred Wastelands, where he was almost killed by the harsh and unforgiving landscape. He fell ill and eventually recovered, but his mind was never the same after that. He believes a little bit of Plague magic seeped into him and helped him survive; he now thinks he's a Plague dragon himself and takes on the customs and mannerisms of that flight. Whether his beliefs are true or not, it's impossible to change his mind.

Within the Clan of the Plaguebearers, Draugr is a recluse. He rarely comes out of his den, hisses at other dragons who get too close to him, and has even been known to attack his fellow clanmates. He rarely speaks, and the only way to tell where he is is by the sound of his skeletal chimes rattling and his cleaver scraping across the ground. He doesn't even have a role, which is strictly against clan policy, but everyone is too scared of him to even try to get him kicked out.
