Alby is a silent dragon, he was mute ever since he was a hatchling. He also didn't try to fight monsters or other dragons, or even attempt to play or make friends. as he grew up, he had the idea to run away to become a potions master. however, it dd not turn out very well, as his journey led him further from his lair, he kept getting attacked by monsters. but the worst attack was by a rouge mirror dragon and it scarred the left side of his face badly and left him in critical condition, he would have died if Aldavius hadn't found him on the outskirts of the crystalspine reaches. He took him back to his lair and castor healed him. as he healed, he found himself becoming rather fond of castor, and decided to stay with castor to learn potion making from her.
