Origins - River was the first dragon interested in this now very mixed clan. Originally, it was the idea of a mirror wandering around with guardian that caught her eye. She was young and a roamer at the time and didn't quite understand why such a thing to happen.
She decided to approach the guardian and at first, their encounter was tense with a threatening growl form the guardian. However, once Aloe realized that River was more curious than a threat she let the mirror into their little circle. At first, Rapture didn't really know what to do other than slink away and be the leader as he usually did. River was confused by the male mirror's behavior and asked the her guardian clan mate about it. That was the day Rivendelle learned of her leader's mental disposition and she felt guilty for questioning his actions. It was then the mirror decided to be strong where her leader was not, for him and to help him and their future clan mates. Aloe and her have been his second and right hand ever since. River felt her heart sink when Aloe told her of why he's never sought out love and it was obvious to the female mirror, that Rapture had found love and he was still much very in love with the guardian he fell in love with. It was sad to see a leader turn his back on his own heart, but River didn't stop him. It was his choice and she understood. Rivendelle has since then been a vigilant and very protective second hand to her clan. She is the first one to run and fight off rogues or any opposition to her family. She breaks up fights and is currently the only one that Nerugui won't F*ck with. The wildclaw know that River will do what's best for her clan, even if that means kicking out or killing one of it's members. Which is something she hopes, she never has to do. River wants her clan to be happy and safe, she wants her leader to be happy and safe and fears what his paranoia could do to him, she knows he's got a good heart. |
Personality - River is curious and loves to investigate, even though it gets her into trouble at times. If there is trouble, she can usually get herself out of it. She's smart and knows that her limits are and quite calm and collected even when in battle. SHe knows that a hot temper can lead to mistakes on or off the battlefield so she tries to keep a cool head at all times. River is helpful and usually helps out with the more difficult tasks. Not to mention, she's a great swimmer and fisher and loves trying to catch water striders.
Mate - Rivendelle doesn't have a mate, however ever since Ebony and his brother joined the clan, River has found it a bit difficult not to let her stomach knot up around the dark, glimmering skydancer. She tries not to let these feelings bother her too much, seeing as how he doesn't seem interested in much, besides it would be asking for nothing but trouble.
As far as friends go, River gets along with mostly everyone. She she's so calm and usually breaks up ruckus if they're is any and it's much appreciated by everyone. Though, she finds herself in conversation with Aloe ans Musaspica most often as well as helping Cassi with the nests and young draglets.
This mirror doesn't have any enemies that she knows of, but she's sure they probably exist. Since she's not one to kill everyone who crosses her if they don't deserve it.
Clan Role - River doesn't really have a job ,she helps out where she can when she's not scouting. Though, she does act as life guard when the babies want to go for a swim when it's warm enough.[/b]

Since River originally grew up near a very watery grove, it only makes sense she'd have a water loving familiar. Devlin would play with the female mirror as a hatchling, saving her from drowning a few times. When she left her clan he left too, following her through bodies upon bodies of water, waiting to leap to her aid. Devlin is now the clan's main water scout, leading a few others, patrolling the waters to protect his family. He also helps teach the hatching how to swim, so that no matter whether they leave or stay. They'll never fear to get their feet wet. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯
