Keiluremna

One of the founding members of Clan Ahnraeth, and a powerful mage of Shadow magic. Hers is a calming presence among the many fiery personalities of the clan, and she has averted disaster more than once. She was a traveler before she found the others, seeking a place where she might put her talent to use and where it would be appreciated. Finding the fledgeling clan when she did was more a matter of luck than anything else, but she has long been glad that she did.

Keiluremna has little desire to lead or teach others the mystic arts despite her great ability, and so is only one of the more senior members of the clan's mage guild. She has turned down more hopeful apprentices than she cares to think about, knowing that she would not be a good fit for the job. Despite her even temperament, she has little patience for explaining and would much prefer to devote her time to her own research. There are plenty of others capable of teaching as far as she is concerned.

She studies the complex magic that both constitutes the gateway into the grove where Clan Ahnraeth is based and hides the clan from all who would wish them harm. It is something on which she has spent years for precious little results. There are inscriptions carved into both the arch itself and the surrounding ruin, but they are written in a language long lost and deciphering it has proven a difficult challenge. The few things she has discovered are hard-won.
