Kitty

Kitty is known as the most lovable ball of fur in the lair. None know his real name, but his nickname Kitty is quite perfect for him. His personality and actions are quite catlike, from purring when stroked to hissing and raising his hair at anyone who gets too close to his beloved mate, Gossamer.

Not much is known of Kitty's past. He prefers not to talk about it. What is known is that he originally was from the Sunbeam Ruins. Who knows why he left. Could have been the climate, the food, or the search for his true love. Whatever the case, Gossamer, Gandalf, and Wizard stumbled upon him while on their way back to the lair after battling monsters in the coliseum. His fur was filled with twigs, fur matted. Gossamer took pity upon the poor dragon, and much to Gandalf's disgust allowed him to follow them home.

For Kitty, Gossamer was love at first sight. Something about her authority over dragons much bigger than her, yes her kind and gentle nature stood out to him. He was most pleased when she helped clean him up, but learned quite quickly that attempting to groom her by licking was not acceptable. He also learned that the dragons of the lair were a bit hesitant to give tummy rubs, or appreciated his rubbing his body alongside them while purring. And Rocha was not too pleased to have her favorite blanket clawed up.

But as time went on, Gossamer found herself rather enjoying the antics of the brown fluffball. He seemed a bit odd, but he always meant well. He did a lot for the clan, his stealth and cat-like battle moves enough to catch small prey such as mice and chickadees for the meat eating members. His loyalty to her even when she shoved his attention away, she had to admire. And one cold winter night, she found out that cuddling a fellow tundra was most enjoyable-much to Kitty's pleasure.

Months later, Gossamer finally accepted Kitty as a mate. The two have had a few nests together, and usually get along great. Sure, there's still some hiccups-Gossamer does not appreciate tripping on Kitty when she enters her private room and he's lying on the floor, or when he gets too excited over a clump of catnip found while wandering for food. But no dragon could imagine life in the lair without him.
