Cawnyl

NAME: Cawnyl (previously Tawnylark)
TITLE: Knight Marshal

As a hatchling, Tawnylark was captured in Carrion Canyon while traveling to her father's old homeland in the Highland Scrub. The Lighting clan treated her as "spoils of war", so to speak, as she was made to be the mate of another Fae with no say in it, and at much too young of an age. However, she was given her freedom when infighting broke out between other such victims of this treatment. Xenos himself carried Cawnyl on his back as they fled to Zephyr Steppes.

After significant consideration, she decided to change her name to Cawnyl to better fit the times. Still, she upholds her tribe's traditions through her wardrobe and mannerisms. She continues to pay Xenos' kindness forward in her service to the crown. It is merely a coincidence that she bonded with one of his sons, Gael, who was the Second Prince of his generation. Although their relationship is complicated, they created many sons and daughters that Cawnyl herself trained to protect themselves and others. She laid the foundation for the Tempest Knights, who practice her style and teachings.

However, during a rare occasion when she was away, the palace was invaded and the reigning king, Atlas, was overthrown. Although she felt great shame and blamed herself for not better preparing her squires for the situation, Cawnyl began planning a swift recapture of the missing royals, waiting for the right moment to pounce.
