Khephri was born a dreamer. Constantly spouting stories and ideas with an energy only other hatchlings could match. Most of the time his aspirations were seen as nothing more than wishful thinking and he'd often been outcast by others when they heard of his wild ideas. But the small fae was observant as well. While other dragons went about their business, he was watching and learning.

As he grew older his dreams did too. Sornieth was a huge place but Khephri often boasted about how he'd one day explore the world! Ever since the day he could fly he'd been gathering supplies in preparation to start his travels. It wasn't easy but he'd researched and studied maps. The young fae also took to reading into more scholarly things. The cultures of the various species of dragons and beast clans alike in different regions along with each flight's history and ways of life. It was interesting to hear and imagine just how his visits would go... He hoped one day it wouldn't just be his imagination.

His travels were cut short after an incident in Plague. Had the Clan of Death not found the small fae and brought him back for medical treatment it was likely he would've perished. For days the usually excitable fae was exhausted and weak. Even after waking up and regaining his strength he was granted a place to stay—a strange kindness for a clan in the land of a deity who encouraged survival of the strong. The fae took to observing the clan and finding his way to the clan historians, eager to hear more about the clan.

After the healers said he was strong enough to leave, Khephri instead asked their leader Cerberus for a place in the clan. He'd heard talk of the need for ambassadors and while he hadn't lived in the clan long, the fae loved the idea of bringing clans from all corners of Sornieth together as allies. While his focus would be with the Arcane clans, he was free to explore and converse with the other ambassadors. At times, he sometimes tags along with them and enjoys watching and eagerly scribbling notes over his observations. Despite what other dragons told him as a hatchling, he really was living his dream life.
