Firstborn son of Alexerion and Artemis, the leaders of clan Ashbright. He was sent by his parents to represent their clan in Gypsum Tower and to symbolize their newfound alliance. Upon joining the clan, he settled in perfectly with the fire representatives, undertaking an apprenticeship beneath the late Ignatious up until the time of his exaltation. From there, the imperial swiftly rose in the ranks until the five lords recognized his prowess - and in doing such, named him General of the Army. His position has him frequently working in close quarters with and answering to Iskam. Despite his admirable resume and high position, Adranos himself is a strong-willed and bullheaded character with a foul mouth. It is not uncommon to hear the general swear even during official meetings, his passion getting the best of his mannerisms and forcing a string of colorful words to pollute his otherwise practical opinion. He is also commonly described as oblivious or obtuse, with innuendos and deeper meanings tending to fly over his head unless explicitly explained or pointed out. His main source of determination are the people around him that he wishes to protect. It's therefore only natural that Adranos fears letting others down and being a disappointment, and pushes himself to insane limits in order to meet his own expectations. His moral code and training regime are rough and rigorous, and often leave even some of the most diligent of soldiers in the army feeling as if they are under-preforming. Some speculate the imperial also pushes himself if only to list off yet another achievement preformed in his letters back home to his parents. He is the only dragon in Gypsum with enough control over his form to materialize wings and fly as a human. |

Adranos can breathe fire using a specialized form of magic that draws on energy produced via his stomach. When he uses this skill, it burns up resources his digestive track would otherwise be using to feed him, so he gets very hungry very quickly. Breathing fire on an empty stomach runs risk of combustion. Overloading mana can furthermore cause him to self-destruct.
A notoriously picky eater, so he usually asks others to refrain from cooking for him. It seems there's one person whose cooking he enjoys, though. He secretly loves cute-looking sweets.
Within his first year of apprenticeship, Adranos won the tournament held during Pandora's birthday against all other candidates. This alongside his swift rise in the ranks during the following years has many older generations of Gypsum calling him blessed by Pandora herself.
