History:
Renick came to The Phoenix Lair after meeting Papyrus. She had ventured to The Viridian Labyrinth in search of parchment when she met the young Nocturne.

Intrigued by the tales he heard of this lair in The Windswept Plateau, and curious of her role as Historian, Renick returned with her. The clan graciously welcomed Renick, especially after hearing of his intrigue with Alchemy. Gyzmo, the Clan Matriarch, told Renick of how the clan needed a dedicated Alchemist, and Renick took on the role with much enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, Renick and Papyrus fostered their own relationship, occasionally visiting The Nesting Grounds to further the lineage of the lair. More recently Renick and Papyrus found themselves the proud parents of a nest of five eggs, a moment that the clan celebrated. However, it was also during this time that Renick informed his mate of his future plans.

"I must continue my pursuit of Alchemy. You know of master Baldwin's recent discovery, that strange brew that turned him into what is being called a Bogsneak. What better dedication to Alchemy can a dragon have, other than to become the dragon born through Alchemy? I must follow in his example and transform myself."

And so he did. Renick dedicated hours to the pursuit of a Bogsneak Scroll so that he could become the very image of an Alchemy Dragon. His time at the lair has since been limited as he has continued to pour into his studies, hoping to bring about a skill level that will forever benefit the clan.
