Cadaver is the youngest of Cornix's still living children, all the others have either gone to other clans, or have gone to the Gods as the Exalted. Although she may be the youngest, out of her three sisters, she would be the "Ring Leader".

Cadaver was born from a clutch between Cornix and Cork, the clan's High Matriarch and Patriarch, while her other brothers and sisters were sent to the Windsinger, Cadaver was allowed to stay, since neither Sorin nor Valkyrie came for her. Whens he grew to full size, she slid into her sister's group, Dullahan and Invidia, the two welcomed their younger sister with open claws. In no time, Cadaver had become the self proclaimed leader of the group.

After tinkering around in the old clan forge, Cornix saw potential in her daughter, along with Crow. After some discussion, Crow won over Cornix, and Cadaver was appointed high Metallurgist of Clan CornixElecti. As her seconds in command, Dullahan and Invidia joined her in the forge. While Dullahan and Invidia enjoyed Blacksmithing and Metallurgy, it was Cadaver's true calling. She was one of the first dragons to come up with bottled fire.

Working with Crow and Latskaia, she was able to create the glowing lights that fill each corridor of the clan caves, Cadaver's bottled fire combined with a few spells and other ingredients created a glowing material that lit up, strangely, only during the night hours. Cornix is greatly proud of her youngest daughter and whenever Crow is sent to the Ashfall Wastes, Cornix makes sure Cadaver either goes with or Crow brings her back something for the forge.
