Hazel

Hazel has taken after her father in terms of scholarly pursuits, though she is far more interested in botany than mechanics. Morwynn, while still suffering from anxiety over the coatl takeover is relaxed more now with one of her own in the home again. Hazel does what she can to make teas to soothe her mother's panics and reassures her with words that nothing nefarious is happening. As time went on, her mother's fears were able to be assuaded by Hazel's herbal teas. Kierö was relieved to know that the madness that ran through Byzantine's line was able to be held at bay...for now. He adored the princess, but it was so challenging some days to maintain his usual joviality. Mili and Rannveig were doing well, Rann having her usual cunning though showing no sign of degrading to madness. Her necromantic coatl friends have also proven themselves worthwhile members of the clan, able to help with medical needs outside of creating beasts of war.
Hazel watched all this politicking and the goings on from the comforts of her garden. When her father entered one day with a Tundra, she was surprised. There weren't many of those long-coated, however adorable!, dragons in their clan, most found living with them a bit warm and a hassle for their fur. Jasper didn't seem to mind, and infact proved himself quite knowledgeable of the plants in the lair's garden. Soon he and Hazel became fast friends, tending plants together and leaving to forage for new additions to the collection. Hazel adored him, his company, his friendship... his fluff being an extraordinary pillow was an added bonus.
