Biography

Morwynn is a Royal Heir from CorbieLaughter's Lair. She was graciously gifted to my lair where she will grow up as a Princess under the guidance of Kierö and Azura.

Morwynn is a dedicated support, weilding the Light to heal allies and harm foes.

When Morwynn heard tales of her Grandfather's luscious cape, she asked her Wardens if she, too, could have one. Not ones to disappoint, and wanting to reward her work in the Coliseum, Kierö and Azura searched until they found one that they felt would suit their ward well. While searching, Azura spied some roses, which fashioned into a crown they fit the young Morwynn perfectly. The Queenling was delighted when presented with her gifts.

--

About a week after arriving in Lightning territory with her Wardens, Morwynn was out in the Lair practicing with Azura. She admired the Guardian's ferocity and resolve and hoped that as she grew she would learn to be a bit more like her. Already she was complimented on her determination and grace by her Wardens, but Morwynn knew she needed to be able to back her word and defend herself if she were to be a successful Queen. As she practiced another dodge the dreadful Voice howled over the desert and the princess faltered. "I really wish he wouldn't do that... there must be another way to ask his people to do things," she muttered and shook her head.

"Morwynn, we're going home. Pack up your things and tell the others to do the same," came the voice of her dear ecclectic Warden. The Princess squeaked and ran to him. Morwynn nuzzled his soft chest feathers then bounded off to her roost - We're going home! Home! Her joy was obvious as she threw on her cloak and fetched her rose crown. 'I'll get to see Father and Grandfather! and Mother!' She cooed with delight then sprang from her roost to round up the other youngsters. "We're going HOME!"

--

It was the end of Brightshine when she was beside Kierö at the Sundial. She had been trying to hide her feelings for him, and had been discussing them at length with Azura who had been reassuring.
"Oh don't you worry, Queenling. He's provided me a son, a home, and more importantly than that, a Purpose." The guardian gently nudged Morwynn.
"Kierö," she spoke quietly. The engineer slipped off his goggles. His cyan eyes glew and sparked with that unpredictable energy she'd come to love about him. "You are the Spark that Lights my life." Morwynn nuzzled into him, relief flooding over her at having finally confessed her feelings.
"Morwynn, my dear one, you are the Light of my life, as you have been since we first met."
She truly couldn't be happier, and would be eternally grateful to her father and Grandfather for sending her away to the Shifting Expanse.

--
Morwynn was thrilled with her first son, as any mother would be. She fully encourages him to go and explore with Kierö, knowing that he is safe with her King and that he would be allowed to find himself. She was, however, surprised when he came back chittering about alchemy. The apple didn't fall that far from the tree.

---
Where Kierö accepted the peaceful ascent of Milintica and Rannveig, Morwynn regarded her nice with skepticism and was less than happy with the arrangement. She knew her engineer wasn't suited to the role of King, and she loved him dearly, but he had charisma and energy to spare whereas Mili often needed to be prodded into action. 'He has a level head,' she told herself, 'he is kind,' she whispered while Kierö dreamed... 'but is he resistant to corruption?'
She continued to watch the transition, insisting that the clan be managed as a council, that she and Kierö maintain a say in the happenings. Milintica was receptive, particularly due to Morwynn's wisdom in politics and diplomacy. Rannveig was insulted but took it gracefully enough, "but of course your Grace is always welcome to voice her opinion."
