a petty magician and trickster that's seen better days, crocus made his living among the ridgebacks of the shifting expanse, entertaining and grifting to pay his way.
after his tricks eventually caught up to him and he was exiled, crocus made his new home where nobody would recognize him.
he is currently the guardian of his "niece", thistle, the daughter of an old drinking buddy.
