Though his memory is not as prodigious as Darach's, Pyrus still has an impressive collection of stories in his head. He takes care, though, to write them all down for future generations - endeavoring to catalog all of An Ríocht Fiadhchoill's past and present ventures. He also regularly collects information from the leaders of various parts of the Clan - writing down Oren's newest medicines, Sorcha's new forging techniques and even Erez and Lora's newest basket patterns. Sensitive information is carefully sealed by the Clan's mages and stored securely - but most of what he takes down is instructional.

When he's not busy writing down all the Clan's goings and doings, he spends his time teaching the lore to hatchlings. He doesn't give near as good a show as Darach, but Darach doesn't usually bother with things like the best way to mend a cut or how you might make a carrier out of some reeds to take a harvest of berries back to the Clan. In this way, the two tundras have very similar rolls, but also incredibly different. Often they teach classes together - Pyrus will give a practical lesson, and then Darach will perform an important piece of the Clan's history. This keeps the hatchlings engaged, but all the information is equally important.
