Licorice is the youngest daughter of Parsley and Parsnip.

- Hatchling Biography
Of the three sisters, Licorice was the most inclined towards magic. She loved creating magical shadow puppet shows to amuse the others - and often followed Thyme around in order to learn about the magic artifacts she had been hoarding. Although she was quieter than her two sisters, she was just as warm and friendly - getting along with the other members of the clan wonderfully.

- Adolescent Biography
When Cassia suggested opening a school, Licorice immediately claimed the magic-teaching spot. She adored hatchlings and couldn't wait to teach them all the tricks she had learned from her father. Since magic could be so dangerous, Licorice decided to dress herself in a rather intimidating and mysterious manner so that the hatchlings would respect her. While they loved her sisters, Licorice knew that someone had to be in charge of discipline - and of course it ought to be her because she had a very good "angry face."
