Parsley was the seventh hatched of the original nine dragons. His egg and the eggs of the other founders washed into the cave during a winter storm and hatched together in the early spring.
- Hatchling Biography
Parsley was born with an incredible gift for magic. He often played by levitating rocks around, turning invisible to startle other dragons, and creating tiny fireworks to scare away birds. He was a bit of a prankster, and his magical abilities made him slightly more dangerous than the average hatchling. He and his fellow nocturne, Parsnip, were inseparable, always choosing to play together.
- Adolescent Biography
As his magical abilities grew, his physical health withered. During his adolescence, Parsley endured nearly a year of constant and crippling illness. For months, he was not sure if he would be able to survive - and if he did, he wondered if he would ever be strong enough to fight. During these hard times, Parsley picked up a passion for reading and writing. He began to record a daily journal of the clan's activities - and even delved into poetry.
- Parsnip
During this time of trial, Parsnip never strayed from his side. She cared for him as best she could, staying loyal to him, reading to him when he was too weak to do so himself, and trying to keep him happy and optimistic. The two have been inseparable since birth, and will remain so, as mates, throughout their lives.
- Adult Biography
It was a miracle, but Parsley survived his adolescence and grew into a strong adult with a powerful magical ability. As a nocturne who was completely surrounded by guardians for his entire life, Parsley truly felt the need for a charge - and the record books he had created were perfect. In these books, the meticulously detailed events of every day within the clan could be referenced and used throughout history by their descendants.
- Starting a Family
In the Winter of Year 6, Parsley and Parsnip decided that they wanted to raise a family of their own. The two loving parents laid three beautiful eggs and awaited their wonderful new children. When Spring came, the eggs hatched into three wonderful daughters. Cassia, Juniper, and Licorice were happy hatchlings who very much took after their mother and father.
