Steer clear of the lava pouring from the armor; while it's not as hot as touching her directly, it's no fun to be submerged in the molten waste created by her armors' cooling systems.

If she weren't emanating light herself, her body would be dark to such a degree one would simply stare in wonder at the black mass in front of them. In this context, then, it is fit to describe that this is the color of her body when at rest. When she is actively engaged, the light emanating from within her becomes white-hot; some even claiming her visage to turn blue on rare circumstance.
