Alba

With two parents heavily embroiled in ambassador duties, one might expect Alba to follow closely in his family's footsteps. However, for this young imperial, he has other plans. Rather than taking his father's heritage as a warning of too many imperials in one place, Alba takes the story as an interesting experiment. For some time he pestered Han into telling him more about the emperor in his family's past, trying to pry every detail from his father of the horrific event. Han finally stopped telling the hatchling anything and Alba moved on to other sources of information. Although he wishes to stay within the EchoFlower troupe and has pointed out that more than one imperial adult now resides within the relatively small clan, his father remains adamant that he travels to other locations. With his fascination in all things macabre and ghoulish, he plans on leaving for the nearest imperial-heavy clan. Though not outright evil, he does have his moments. Younger dragons are often under his claw in fights because of his larger size and he easily ran his sister out of the troupe into the safety of an allied ice clan. When he left the troupe for greener pastures, he took his disturbing nature with him. Alba is trouble, and will be his whole life. He enjoys fights and will start them whenever possible. Most of his fights go the way he wants them, easily winning over his smaller opponents. There is a strong dislike for pearlcatchers in his blood and he postures excessively around them, sometimes going so far as to nip their tails as they pass. This often causes mayhem and fights have broken out because of it. Despite all of his shortfalls as a social dragon, Alba has incredible memory and superior skills at recruitment. He can easily sway another dragon onto his side of things which is a skill he has used many times to get into otherwise closed groups. He may be a significantly dirty trickster for a nature dragon but he is also incredibly loyal. At heart he is a mothers boy and will do anything for the opposite sex, treating older female dragons with respect and courtesy. Although his tactics with younger female dragons leave much to be desired, he doesn't tolerate bad behavior towards them, even from himself. His skewed morals serve him well despite confusing everyone around him. |
