The sea-witch is soft spoken and patient, ready to listen quietly to others and offering gentle council. She has a strong affinity to the sea and is able to divine the future. Specialises in magics that alter the weather, calm anxious minds and the creation of water-based illusions.

Llyr - a wandering magician of roguish demeanour and despicable reputation. Despite this, he was Kelpie's faithful and adoring mate for many years, often returning from his travels with seashell-trinkets to gift her with.

SEA SALT TEARS

____To say the romance between Kelpie and Llyr came as a shock to the members of the Vigilight clan would be an understatement. The sea-witch was every inch the example of innocence and purity, content to remain for all her days at the Bastion where she could assist the clan. He, a known vagabond, would roam the countryside using his magic tricks and fortune telling to con unsuspecting dragons out of their coin.

____But around the pearlcatcher the magician’s cocky manner was set aside and he never returned without an exotic gift for his love. In turn, it seemed that Kelpie’s capacity to forgive his misdeeds was endless, always patiently awaiting his return and welcoming the wayward spiral with all the love of her heart. The relationship seemed idyllic in it's own way, until the day Llyr's wandering took him from her permanently. After months without a word, not so much as a letter nor rumour, Kelpie turned to her magic to try seek out the spiral, only to confirm what her heart knew. Her love was lost, now roaming the world beyond.
