B I O G R A P H Y

Jake is not normally one you would find in a clan. He was created from the water and rose up, immediately drawn to the lush lands and greens it promised, and for a long time he stayed in The Gladevines of The Viridian Labyrinth, resting in the streams and waterfalls it held. Yet Jake became restless and told himself that he would journey back to his homeland one more time, and pay homage to the water that had made him. So he traveled to The Sea of a Thousand Currents, and it was there at the Tsunami Flats that he was spotted by others. He had no trees or undergrowth to blend in with, and Jake, not one for meeting others, silently slipped away before anyone could say anything, much to the disappointment of a guardian named Shiningbreeze.

He was terrified at first -- Jake had never talked to anyone in his life, and much preferred the natural sounds of running water and wind stirring leaves strewn among the green grasses. He had never dared to talk or even meet another dragon, and he was sure that up until now no one had known he existed. What would they do when they realized he was not a dragon like them, but rather a carefree, silent shadow, a spirit born among the lakes and vast forests? What would they think of his strange powers and dealings with magick?

Yet he had not even touched the water yet, thanks to those dragons. And so Jake waited, and after weeks finally ventured back out to touch the surface of the water quietly, and watched it ripple outward. He was so entranced that he did not hear the spiral's words at first;

"Well.....what brings you here?" A quiet though almost rough voice.

He did not hear her until the second time she said it, this time with slight impatience.

"Excuse me; is there a particular reason you are here...?"

Jake heard it and briefly glanced up as he ran past her, away from the water. A presence of fire seemed to linger in the air even as she was no longer in sight. Fire. A nature spirit risen with the water did not mix with flame.

Jaxine stared in mild confusion at the quickly retreating figure. She was extremely confused,, for the leader of her new clan had spoke of a strange dragon on the shores who had been seemingly drawn toward the water, yet had not spoken a word, just left at the sight of her presence. It was unusual, not for the appearance of the stranger or the silence, but something about his general aura, something seemed off...and Jaxine especially found it strange. Now, she had her taste of strange things -- she tinkered with mechanics and such, and she messed with fire. Most would have thought it odd that a wielder of fire would be here of all places...maybe that was it. She shook her head in defeat and erased the thoughts from her mind. Whoever it was, it wasn't much of her concern.
