HotCocoa

All that is sweet is not chocolate.

B I O G R A P H Y

HotCocoa never knew his parents well, spending his early life, instead, with his aunt, a powerful witch. Many would not suspect now that this fun-loving chocolate coatl was once a feared wizard. Of course, that's because they had also not known his original name: Ganache. Ganache practiced dangerous, unpredictable magics from a young age. By the time he had matured enough to fight, he had not only accidentally transformed his once-black-and-green body entirely into chocolate, but had also become the thing of nightmares to the clans inhabiting the tangled wood. A legend that could turn the soil into an army of golems, command the skies to rain fire upon his foes, twist living dragons into inanimacy, with just the flick of a claw.

HotCocoa had joined the Clan of Lunar blood through his later friendship with Serena. Then, he had changed his name, and adopted a newer, arguably calmer life, as the clan uncle. None but Serena know of his past as a mage, and even she had never known the scale of his power. But that doesn't mean he ever stopped. HotCocoa is directly responsible for almost every mimic that 'finds its way into' the lair, even the one that he rides after his old, aching legs had failed him. Beyond his quaint fire-lit room, under a hidden passage, is a room of dark arts and summoning, a direct connection to the universe outside Sorineth.

Of course, mimics weren't the only thing HotCocoa created. In his old age, he found himself... lonely. And so, he created himself a friend, made entirely of chocolate just like himself. He named her Choying, and claimed that, in his confused old age, he had mistaken a potion lying around for baking ingredients. His plan worked like a charm, and so he was left with his new creation to teach everything he knew... everything but his own magics. He would never bestow upon Choying the curse of power.
