Nataya was found as an egg and adopted to the clan. She does not speak much: she was quiet as a hatchling and after coming back she speaks even less.

Most of Nataya’s youth was spent wandering around the region near the lair, with or without the permission of the older clan members. When she didn’t come back one day, the most probable cause was seen to be the Starwoods.

However, Nataya came back. Years after the vanishing, half-dead and refusing to speak any of what had happened. The best guess is still that she got nabbed as an experiment by a Lightning clan.

It took a long time, oodles of magic and many, many mechanical tests but Nataya survived. Due to harming magics and the age of her wounds, not all could be regenerated, and her body is now partially cybernetic. Golem-maker Merana was the main creator of the augmentations, while healer Cheneth is to be thanked for the healing magic: even now Nataya counts the two older dragons as her friends, and she can be seen in Merana’s workshop, keeping her company as she works.

In addition to the wounds, Nataya was still dragging broken chains when she appeared. She still wears the chains as a trophy for surviving, and has turned the ice-spell of the chains for her favour. The ice created by the shackles is useful to keep the volatile cybernetics from overheating, and it also gives a weak ice-element in her attacks: added with her natural Shadow, and the Lightning cybernetics, she has partial three-element attack.

How the most silent dragon of the clan ended up with the always-speaking translator is a mystery, but the clan-mates can only guess that Ethiar speaks enough for two.

Most of the time Nataya is a huntress and a scout of the hunting pack, but during battles Nataya is the sub-commander of the Mirror War Pack. She favours long plans and trapping her enemies completely before smashing them.
