Regina plays a complex but extremely important role in the clan. She acts as an advisor to Beatrix and Vesper, providing her wisdom and counsel but rarely appearing on the front lines herself.
In a way, she could be considered a backseat leader - although never directly involving herself in clan politics, her views and opinions carry the most weight, and what she says always goes. It's lucky for the clan then that she is always open to suggestion, and tries to be accommodating of everyone's desires and needs.

On the rare occasions that Regina finds it necessary to directly involve herself in conflicts, she conducts herself with unrivaled dignity and confidence, that makes even the most persistent and level-headed of dragons feel ever so slightly nervous.
These traits carry over to clan life as well, where she is extremely influential and charismatic. Despite this, she is analytical, cool and level-headed, and also prefers to avoid social gatherings if possible.

You could probably call her a "Queen". She would definitely not mind.
