Aegaeon, the Pearl of Rain and Brine, was found alone before even his birth. A pearl-like egg was discovered by Mirathorn's clan, washed ashore from the Sea of a Thousand Currents. After some deliberation, Mirathorn took in the egg and saw to its hatching. It was clear, however, that the hatchling retained a Water soul, and had not absorbed the Light magic seeping through the earth of the Sunbeam Ruins. Mirathorn embraced this and raised Aegaeon as her own prodigy, sending him on excursions to the Sea to receive training among his native people and placing him in the authority of Hadrian, the Diplomatic Commander, to act as the clan's liaison and official Water representative. As Aegaeon traversed the waves, he met Mizu, a small water sprite. After befriending her, she now follows him wherever he goes, even into the warm sunlight of the Sunbeam Ruins. She is a constant reminder of his heritage, and he carries the thought with pride, even as he privately thinks of himself as a Light dragon, and his home, not the crashing sea waves, but the gentle streams of the Hewn City.

Aegaeon reports to Diplomatic Commander Hadrian. As Aegaeon is quiet and gentle in personality, he maintains good relations with the other representatives, and even the more vicious or feral dragons don't bother him. Niflheim, the clan's Ice representative, is on particularly good terms with him, and besides Mizu, has become his closest friend. 		Reports to:
