Lore: Shay is a follower of the studies of the Shadowbinder, learning as much shadow magic as possible in his life, and adeptly using said magic in combat. He shuts himself up in old rooms and practices his magic, worrying many dragons. Galahad, his closest friend, and Iris, his mate, say that there's nothing to worry about. He is reluctantly dragged on missions by Huria, who ignores his protesting and whining, forcing him to "get his snout out of those dusty scrolls" and actually work.
