Colarre

Although a member of the clan and Averrose's dedicated mate, and a dragon with the clan since its beginning, very little is actually known about Colarre by the rest of his clanmates. He is a dragon of very few words and occasionally given to a very short temper, leading many others to avoid him either out of respect or out of fear. However, a few things have become very clear.

1. Colarre loves Averrose. Though he dwarfs her is size and is solemn in comparison to the warmth and care and compassion she extends to all others, Colarre only has eyes for her. He would do anything to protect her and by extension, would do anything to protect the rest of the dragons that fall under her care.
2. Colarre loves his children and his descendants. Although generally unsociable, Colarre had the same dream as Averrose to raise a big family. He is proud of the lineage, but he still wishes he could have a Guardian son like him, another strong, silent Guardian to carry on his lineage. That hasn't necessarily come to pass yet. His oldest son, though tough, was only as strong as a Fae can be. Quince is a Guardian, but definitely more on the artsy side. And Summerclaw, the result of his stint as a Skydancer, is more a naturalist than a warrior. However, with the discovery of his son Voski's extended lineage and the appearance of his fierce descendant Voskarre, there may be more hope for his lineage.
