Granith is considered the leader of the clan. She rules her clan with an iron fist, but a heart of gold to those who showed love and forgiveness. She originates from the land of the Flamecaller with her lover, Scivil. They were born from the Igneous flow subspecies but were left to look after themselves at a very young age. They ruled by each other, fighting for their survival and the safety of their forming clan. She never found a charge so she decided to make one which allowed Scivil to successfully join her charge. Granith never refers to her clan as a charge as she believes it's only a guardian thing that shouldn't be forced onto the others. Granith couldn't be happier at how things turned. She has had many hatchlings, mostly being sent to fight for Flamecaller, but some left to go to other fire clans, even other flights! Granith's clan now expands her alliances to the beastclans, helps those who are injured and allows a safe haven for unique dragons to cope with their lives.

LORE

Peace in her land wasn't something that came without a price. Her clan was attacked by a rogue gang of several different light dragons. Their warriors weren't united but their attacks were extremely strong when they could. At first they attacked the outsides but then they moved in for the heart of the clan. Granith had to make the call; the call to war.

Granith's clan fought hard, her lover never leaving her side. Throughout the battle they managed to save hatchlings, rescue and feed their soldiers, and were considered the rulers of the battlefield. In a skirmish, Scivil got captured and was held captive for many days. Granith would send out every stealth party she had to find him and a week later they brought him home. He was severely injured and had to be placed into a medicinal coma which drove Granith into a rage. The light dragons never saw her wrath comming. She attacked the heart of their base, smashing eggs, killing anything that had a heart and burnt everything that was left to the ground. Almost instantly after Graniths attack, the clan was chosen victorious. Their clan was at peace once again. Scivils injuries couldn't be fixed and his arms and legs had to be amputated. When he woke up he received prosthetic which was fine by her, she loves him for who he is on the inside not what he looks like on the outside.

Granith has no quarrel with the beastclans. If they originated from the land she uses then she allows them to stay there as well. Her land is mostly covered by a small Serthis clan but on the western outskirts there are some refugee harpies origionating from the Southern Icefield. At first the Serthis wanted nothing to do with them but cause death to her clan; but once they realised how they wanted to share and how friendly Granith was, they made a treaty to co-exist. The harpies were much more friendlier towards the clan being so close and agreed to a peace if they could help protect them as Talona doesn't like them talking or negotiating with dragons. Granith agreed to protect them and now both groups assists in keeping their land safe for raids.

Blizz story

Serthis clans from outside the ashfall wastes hate her. They see her making peace as an act of lowering and have attempted to kill her off many times due to this. The first assassin sent made a tasty snack, the second one tasted even better, but the third one was one not to be eaten. The third one was a poorly armoured, bruised, slightly bleeding Serthis that attempted to stab her in the neck by hiding behind a storage box and lunging out. Granith managed to hear the soft hisses and moved out of the way just in time. The serthis landed poorly, rolling around a bit before attempting to slither away but it's tail became caught under Graniths claw. Granith lifted it up by its tail and stared directly into its eyes. They stared for a couple of seconds before poor thing started to cry and slightly shake in fear. Granith felt bad for it and walked with it in her arms, headed to the doctors.

The serthis didn't complain once when the doctor poked and prodded it. The doctor said that it had many broken ribs, was severely dehydrated and suffered from long term internal bleeding. The doctor then proceeded to place an Iv into a vein and wrap any the areas with the broken ribs. Granith immediately felt bad for it and asked what happened. The serith spoke lightly, telling them that she was abused and sent to kill her due to her family sacrificing themselves to save her from a dragon raid, lowering the seriths clan numbers. The serith leaders wanted Granith dead so badly that she was tasked to kill Granith and then kill herself if successful. She was injured because the act of surviving the dragon attack meant that she didn't help defend enough and therefore had to be punished, she also originated from Dragonhome so it was a long travel with little to no water sources. Granith felt very bad for it and asked the Serith for its name. It replied with Blizz.
Blizz stayed with the doctors for two months before being released. She didn't leave the clan however and decided to stick to Graniths side as her personal assistant. She now has better armour, can call in to the doctor at any time and a great guardian.

Igneous flow subspecies

Lore

They say that is species just showed up at the Ashfall Waste and started swimming in the pools of lava, not being affected at all by the extreme temperatures. The local miners were the first to make contact with some that were laying on the crips ground, in an attempt to communicate with them. However, the recently named Igneous Flow subspecies could only gurgle and hiss towards them, scaring all those who wished to know more about their fire resistance. After many years, one igneous flow decided to venture out of the pools and go on an adventure. He learnt a common tongue from a small mining town, which could be understood by most dragons and was told that the pools of lava held many precious minerals needed for trade. With its new knowledge the dragon decided to go back to its people to spread the language and news of great riches. The Igneous Flow subspecies now is a major trader of diamonds, obsidian and aluminium and has adapted a new forging system to create advanced materials.
