Fond of cats, dogs and dragons (not necessarily in that order), Lightning serves as keeper of all the travellers in the lair. Along his 6 assistants, Lightning is constantly checking in on the welfare of all the dragons who arrive, and ensuring they are well-prepared before they leave. He prides himself on effective requisitions handling - apparel and familiar assignment goes through him, and never has a dragon's wishlist gone unfulfilled.

His daily activities often include handling food distribution to the lair, managing those transitioning from the lair to hibernation, and familiar bonding, all with the assistance of his 6 puppies, who are well-rewarded afterwards.

When not busy keeping the lair running, he and Stormbringer spend time together exploring, accompanied by their 12 children and their hatchlings. Often, their travels bring them to new, unexplored territories, and they make for fantastic stories during feeding times.

Much of Lightning's history is known to the clan, as the dragon who happened to come upon a small lair in the Carrion Canyon, who raised the clan through excommunications and purges, moving territories and across Sornieth. The only reason for him refusing the patriarch title is due to his belief in Stormbringer's capabilities as a leader, and blatant refusal in attending a meeting more than thirty minutes long. Still, much of the clan considers him the unofficial patriarch, and treat him as such.

Beagle Beatrice
Unofficial leader, Beatrice coordinates the other assistants in handling Lightning's daily tasks. Her skills include delegation and snapping treats out of mid-air. 		...... French Bulldog Fiona
Absolutely resolute in ensuring that every dragon looks their best, Fiona keeps track of apparel for each dragon. Her skills involve style, flair and dissing dragons' fashion senses.
Dachshund Doug
Fond of food, Doug handles apportioning of the clan's food portions. He's very appreciated for being able to remember each dragon's favourite food item. His skills involve eating, memory and chasing his tail. 		...... Pomeranian Paya
With friendliness that could rival Fiona (the dragon, not her fellow assistant), Paya pairs and ensures each dragon has bonded with their assigned familiar. Her skills include record keeping, people skills and spending time on Lightning's back.
Yorkshire Terrier Yvette
Always friendly, Yvette works with Cana to track the dragons both incoming and outgoing in the lair. Her skills include greeting new dragons and locating new hiding spots. 		...... Corgi Cana
Always kind, Cana works with Yvette to track the dragons both incoming and outgoing in the lair. Her skills include greeting new dragons and a knack as seeker when playing hide and seek.
