  B I O G R A P H Y
Ailran, though a broken Dragon when he first came to the Clan, slowly let the wave of time heal his wounds of his past. Though he is much better now, he still can't help but feel the stabbing pain in his heart whenever he sees another Snapper or an Earth Dragon, leaving them, like Era and Lyrii, to typically try to avoid him to lessen his heartache. Despite this, Ailran has long since challenged himself to face his past, and thus tends to invite Lyrii, Era, Krendall, or one of the other Earth or Snapper Dragons to talk with him.
After a time, Ailran began to act like his old self again, always the charming gentleman. He quickly got fascinated with Lyrii's work as a blacksmith and had her teach him how to use the forge. He was a natural at it, and began to forge armory and jewelry for the Clan. Because of his enthusiasm in his work, he was give the Protector name of Protector of the Forge. At first he rejected it saying the title should go to Lyrii, but she insisted that she was happy with her title as she was the Clan's general blacksmith and Ailran made armor, weapons, and jewelry. Finally convinced, he now carries the title with pride. It came as a surprise when Ailran and Luna announced their love for each other. His respect had grown for the Guardian with her aspiration to lead the Clan next in her father's footsteps, and over time Ailran began to notice his respect was morphing into something else completely. He finally realized what the feeling was one day when she went out on a scout mission and didn't return. Very worried for the Guardian's life, he went with the search party. When they found her with a broken wing from saving a hatchling from a fallen tree, Ailran was finally convinced that the feeling was love, though he never told her till later, as he was worried that his feelings was betraying the beautiful Snapper he was once in love with so long ago. After talking with Cupid and Valenie, he finally decided to move forward and told her, and she admitted she, too, loved him, but was too scared to admit it. Now, they love each other very much, and Ailran decided to keep the memories of his once beloved stored in his heart.

Ailran is a Dragon with a very closed heart, never sharing his tragic past. Hatched as an orphan, Ailran spent the first part of his life traversing Sorienth, never really staying in one place and never really having a destination, either. Although naturally drawn towards the stars and science as an Arcane Dragon, his time spent in Dragonhome and the Ashfall Waste has had a major affect on him as he grew a fondness for metals and hand-crafted objects.
Over time, Ailran became increasingly aware for his inner desire of finding a permanent home and a true love. He finally found it in the form of a lovely Snapper in Dragonhome. They loved each other very much, and wanted to be together always. But, the Snapper's tribe forbid the relationship. Heartstricken, the two planned to elope together. However, on the night of their planned escape, tragedy struck as the Snapper's tribe and a rival tribe began a viciously brutal battle that spanned the entire night. When it was over in the morning, Ailran searched everywhere for his beloved, and finally found her dying from her wounds. It was only then that she revealed they had eggs from their union, but they had died before hatching, and she died soon after, promising she would forever love the heartbroken Tundra. After that terrible incident, Ailran couldn't bare to stay in Dragonhome much longer and left to travel the land again, only this time without any purpose. He finally made his way to the Sunbeam Ruins. Here, he finally decided he was too tired and heartbroken to continue much longer and sat at the edge of the cliffs to finally let himself wither away. However, a certain bouncy Mirror came upon him. Blossom, concerned and unsure what to do, ended up leading the broken Tundra back home. Here, he got checked over by the many Clan's members, all whom agreed only time could heal his wounds. Though it took a long time, and a lot of talking with both Cupid and Valenie, Ailran finally was able to move on, but never forgetting the Snapper who once taught him how to feel.

I say he looks like a very laid backed but strong individual he can fight if he is needed but much rather not. He is the type of dragon that gives off a strong vibe but when you get to know him you see he is pretty nice.
