Biography
Fight To Kill, Love To Death.
It had taken months for the Guardian to grow to her adult size, though once she had, the first dragon she thought to go to was not her father, not Arixstahle, to perhaps brag to the leader of the clan how she had grown... no.
She went to the Guardian keeping the borders of Micaryn safe.
Her playful manner of running up to him seemed to not be as startling as it was before, it seemed he had been expecting her.
As she ran in front of him, she shook a bit, dust falling down beside her, tumbling off of her wings and body. And she gave a great big smile, excitedly chiming "Amaraenx! I think I'm finally all grown!"
The Crimson male looked over her, and he did something unexpected. Something he would rarely ever do...
He smiled.
And with that smile came a quiet statement, the emotions behind it probably not as clear as the speaker of the words had hoped.
"You finally seem to be comfortable within your own skin... if only I could feel the same."
Xhaanguin simply stared... though the smile did not fade. Not for a few minutes, at least. It only started to when he started to think something was wrong. But even then, he still surprised her. As one corner of his mouth tweaked downwards, he murmured
"It is okay, my dear. I know you are not used to hearing me speak, and... I am sure the smile was something new... but please. If you do not change your expression, I do not believe I can bear you being here."
It took a moment or two, but the smaller Guardian leapt forward, wrapping arms, legs and wings around the male before her. And after another moment passed, the larger did the same... and they stayed there, wrapped and tangled up together, until the night guards came after the sun had set.
The only child of Yivriks and Zykurr to stay within their clan, and their only daughter, this female Guardian was quick to find who she would claim as not only her best friend, but eventually her mate as well; the protector of their clan... Amaraenx.
Every day, the small girl would go and visit him, in the hopes that one day he would open up to her. And once they had shared a long embrace on the day she had fully grown, she knew she had one task that she would work tirelessly to complete.
From that day, she set off on a quest to make the larger Guardian happy... She has been taught to fight alongside him, in a style that would compliment Amaraenx's perfectly. For that, she has Arixstahle to thank, along with her father Zykurr.
It took ages to be able to confess her feelings for the elder male, and while she has yet to get a confirmation that he does in fact love her, she has been receiving small presents from him, a sign that he was working to court her, both to let her become comfortable with being intimate with him, and also to allow himself time to adjust.
Make sure you keep an eye out for your weak spots. Xhaanguin was named for exsanguination, the term for when one bleeds to death... She aims for vital organs when she fights, and to rip out the throats of those she kills. Defend yourself well if you choose to fight her.[/columns]
