Biography
Note to self, fix and rewrite this. Old Bio is OLD
Silent, stern and beautiful. Aela is truly the belle of the clan. She's completely blind to the fact that she can turn heads with her looks and skill, as she's far too busy sparing with fellow clan mates and taking down prey and monsters who make their way into the clan. She quickly claimed the title of the clan's lead hunter shortly after budding into adulthood. One day she woke up with the Rose Lei around her neck. The clan teased that it must be from a secret admirer. She constantly scoffs at them. Yet she didn't have the heart to take it off...looks like she does have a soft spot. The rose corsage on the other hand was a gift from her parents. You will often see her softly caressing it's petals, as if for luck and comfort. She has a powerful love and admiration for her mother and father.
When she first joined that clan, she was horribly untrusting of Cheru. She straight out hated her infact. The reasoning behind this, is a long story that she rarely goes into. But it did have to do with the fact that they came from the same clan and to say that their parents didn't like each other is a gross understatement. Cheru was always silent and indifferent toward her though. Didn't stop Aela from giving her hell every chance she had when she was younger though. She just didn't trust her. Everyday she waited. For a sign or reason for her to show the clan that Cheru should not be trusted and cast out. But then came the day of a nasty storm.
Cheru had brought in a grandchild of hers. She loved and cared for him dearly. The affection surprised Aela. But it still didn't do much to get rid of her distrust. No. That took the death of the young dragon to do that. He had drowned saving a hatchling who had got swept into the over flowing rivers. He got the hatchling out, but had the horrible luck of being under a tree that had it's foundation swept away by the river. Aela was the one who found his body after the storm and the one to break the news to Cheru. She was as silent and cold at first. Showing no emotion as the young dragon's body was sent away. But it was after nightfall did Aela see Cheru's true emotion. She had thrown a fit, tore apart the ground, knocked over trees. Going at it until Cheru was overwhelmed and began to weep. Aela was stunned to see such raw emotion from her. The fact that someone she first viewed as heartless was so distraught. It was then did Aela begin to doubt and decided that she should try to see beyond what she saw originally
As she got to know her, she found out that Cheru was...nothing like how she thought. She had her parents strength and cunning but in the best way. She saw the shades of grey in the black and white Aela had always saw. And over time, the two grew close and fell in love. And she found out who the lei came from. Turns out Cheru's pretty good at growing roses.
Now, the two are unbreakable bond mates, and love each other dearly. They even raised a dragon as their own. And Sparrow would tell you how he adores and admires his mothers.
