Malice

A dragon born of the Light. While fighting the hordes of Plague dragons, he contracted a deadly affliction that corrupted his mind and his body. For a time, his twisted shell fought against his former clan.

However, he was later recaptured by a patrol of Light dragons. Initially, he had to be contained so that the contagion which had warped his flesh did not infect any other members of his clan. After intensive research, though, a healer finally discovered the cure for his plague. Although it did not heal or reverse the changes to his body, it did free his mind from the grip of the contagion, restoring him to more or less his former self.

Now he serves as the clan's Plague representative. None of the other members of his clan could withstand the festering illnesses of the Plague domain, but thanks to his body structure being mutated by the virus, he is immune to a wide range of plagues and resistant to almost all of the known strains.

Although he looks horrifying, he has regained his normal personality. Therefore, he poses no threat to his clan or his flight. He is also no longer contagious, due to the cure's effect on his body. In fact, he is quite mellow, although he will fervently defend his clan. Unfortunately, despite his resistance to disease (which would make him exceptionally well suited for the role), he cannot fight against the Plague dragons because he would lose his status as that flight's representative. He still fights against the other flights, however, and in battle he can activate a "battle frenzy" where he allows the virus to take control of his body once more. He becomes extremely contagious again, and the virus heightens his physical capabilities, making him an effective warrior.
