Bivittas lay in a deep pit, curled up waiting for something to happen. They'd found him once again, he could tell by the swishing of the barren cacti around him.
Lightning crackled between the clouds far above, flashing light upon the dragon below. A whisper came from behind a cactus.
"Is he dead? No no, of course not he's breathing. What do I do? How do I help him? Pfft, and they want me to become a healer. Is he injured? Hellooo, are you injured sir?"
Bivittas curled closer to himself, clenched in a tight ball. It's a trick. he thought, If I expose any weakness I'll die. Even then he had to open his eyes and see who had spoken. It was a young dark spiral whom he almost mistook for a tiger due to her markings. Her eyes showed she was born in the wind territories, which he hadn't expected.
"Oh thank goodness. Are you injured?" she asked.
Bivittas stood, scaring the spiral with his underbelly which took the appearance of blood in the unreliable lighting of the lightning territories.
"Fine." He shook himself off, quite sure now that she wasn't one of them.
"Come, come. At least get some food." She said and darted off to the north, probably leading him to the clan she was a member of. He just hoped they couldn't find him.
