∙ PERSONAL ∙

Maki's sunny, cheerful nature belies her dark coloration. She is named for the deep purple mushrooms that thrive in the gloom of the Nocturne's ancestral homeland.
∙ BACKGROUND ∙

Born into a Light clan, Maki flitted into the clan as a hatchling and settled down as though she belonged there, without explanation. The other dragons might have questioned her presence if she hadn't been so irrepressibly cheerful and friendly towards them all.
∙ ROLE ∙

Her dark camouflage and nocturnal nature would make her an excellent night scout, but she has no sense of stealth whatsoever and views everyone as a friend. The clan has put her friendly nature to good use by sending her on diplomatic missions with Ostrangar: she whispers names in the forgetful Tundra's ear, flits through foreign clans making friends with everyone, and chats away until even the coldest dragon's heart melts.
∙ RELATIONSHIPS ∙

Maki's inquisitive, outgoing nature has endeared her even to the normally standoffish Akkidlil and Ibtefreyi.

She hatched her first nest with her close friend Akkidlil, as both wanted to be parents but neither had found a mate yet.
