"Petals wafted gently upon spring's breath. The harsh winter had finally eased its grip, and the land began to bloom. A warm light filtered in between the leaves of the freshly greened trees, catching on a statue-like figure and reflecting back into the rocky crags below.

A dull creak echoes through the canyon as the figure rises. Slightly rusted armor broke free of icy confines as limbs renew their grip on the earth. The mighty guard wakes from his deep slumber to face the light of spring. He shakes the cold from his bones and stands, mightier than the new growths, to keep watch of his gate. For with the new leaves come mighty beings, thawing slowly but surely as the sun bears down upon the frozen land.

He is the protector of the wall, the hero of children's tales. He stands strong against the wind and rain, saving his strength for the foes that are sure to come. He knows only his duty, to his clan and his family. He cannot fail them this night, or any."

He is the Gate Keeper

Thrond came to the clan with his sister Rusla and brother Ridgeway. Birthed from a clan founded upon pride and duty, of honor and sacrifice for the good of the many. It is easy to see where Thrond pulls his indomitable strength from. Death before dishonor is the code he lives by. He is the big brother for many in the clan, the dragon who watches over all the ensure the safety of any who calls the clan home. He is the first dragon any newcomer will see upon nearing the gates, and he never forgets the scent of an enemy.

While not the largest among this clan of behemoths, Thrond is one of the most capable in combat. Training amongst Guardians and Imperials has left Thrond with deep reserves of strength and agility. Muscle ripples under his thick fur, enough to take down even the strongest Guardian dragon. He is easily an equal to any whom he encounters.

Thrond is also a very good judge of character, able to tell by scent alone the quality of a dragon and their companions. He has turned away many dragons far before they even see the gates of the clan and has gained the respect and admiration of the clans leaders.
