Subzero

A talented telepath frozen solid for many moons now, she is often mistaken for an ice carved statue. That is, if you can even spot her amongst the heavy snowfall. Most often she is only identified by her disembodied voice.

The locals theorize she may be the victim of some horrid curse, frozen for all time as punishment for her misdeeds. Children dare eachother the visit the frozen unfortunate, try to find it hidden with its icy home. . "Are you brave enough? Will it talk to you? What did it say?" They whisper among themselves.

Travelers who stumble across her tell many tales as well. They speak with fear, "A cursed voice in the snow that had no body to come from!" "A presence tried to invade my mind! Lead me astray from my path!" There are others, however, that speak with praise. "A voice came to me from the snow when I was lost, cold...She put me back towards my path!" "She is guide sent from the Ice Warden himself!"

Many stories surround her presence; maybe she is cursed, maybe she is a messenger of the gods, a guide to lost travelers, a trickster to lead others to a lost fate like her own...but perhaps she might also just be a dragon ill prepared for the journey from her homeland to the frozen country.
