Ascidia The Mind "Please, we want you to kill us. In fact, we dare you too."

Long ago, Lilith, leader of the Dark Claw Clan, bought two eggs on the black market. She infected the unborn hatchlings with her Shade influence, twisting and corrupting them to serve alongside her as her bodyguards.

Now grown, the siblings are called 'The Immortal Twins', in fearful whispers in clans all across Sornieth, a tale to chill the blood and frighten the hatchlings. Leonid and his sister Caern are not truly immortal, but they may as well be, for one reason:
Both brother and sister long for death, for the chance to lay down beside each other and become something greater than the sum of their parts, a being of ultimate power.
They long to become an Emperor.

They laugh in the face of death as they gleefully wreak their havoc, leaping into danger just to see if they will die. Delighting in murder and chaos, they ply their trade together, with the callous disregard for life that comes with immortality. They are safe in this regard, although the murderers are considered by many to be too dangerous to let live, no dragon would dare kill them, as the death of one would be swiftly followed by a willing and gleeful death of the other by their own claw. The twins have a pact, they are always together, never to be apart. Even into death. In case of forced separation, they each have one hollowed molar tooth, filled with fast acting poison. One hard crunch is all it would take.
None would dare unleash an Emperor on the world, they count on it.

The only reason the twins haven't taken their lives before now is their obsessive lust for more power. They willingly slaughter and massacre on Lilith's instructions, honing their powers, preparing for they day they can finally become one. Ultimately, they dream of becoming so powerful that together, they can kill a Deity.
They grow closer to that goal every day they remain alive.

If it was anyone else, it would be said that the siblings love each other more than anything, even life itself. But Leonid and Ascidia aren't capable of love, nor to they picture each other as anything more than their other half, apart for now, but always together, always craving the day they can follow each other into death and become one.

Ascidia specializes in the arcane arts. Nimble and cunning, she darts around the outside of the fight, not only attacking but taunting and jeering, relishing the terror of their victims. She hones her mind, preparing to become the mental component to their perfect Emperor, her brother free to unleash his physical prowess.

She delights in the stench of mage-burned flesh, the screams of fear, the slow drip of blood in the silence...
