Noctis

Noctis was born an Arcane dragon, her body warped into pink crystal by the wild magical energies of that flight's realm. At a young age, when she was still a hatchling, the Arcanist's mark appeared on her body in the form of glowing pink runes. Her birth clan believed this to be a sign that she would have a strong aptitude for powerful magic, something always admired in the Arcane flight.

Noctis, however, had no interest in learning magic whatsoever. Instead, she was fascinated with the martial arts, much to the disgust of the other Arcane dragons. Because of this, they shunned and mocked her, and so one day she left the Starfall Isles, seeking a mentor who would teach her the art of physical combat.

She knew that Plague dragons were renowned for their physical prowess and survival skills, so she first set off east to the Scarred Wasteland.

While many Plague dragons were definitely not the most hospitable to outsiders, she eventually did find a mentor. He told her that she would have to survive the harsh environment of the Plague domain in order to prove herself worthy of his time, since the Plague dragons respected survivors above all else...and survive she did.

Over many years spent training, her body began to change, the crystal shifting from a bright pink to a deep blood-red hue. The runic marks faded, becoming crisscrossing lines of scar tissue.
