Charlea has never really enjoyed a good relationship. They, in her opinion, had too many holes and hoops to jump through. Silent rules that no one knows but follows for some obscure reason. To make matters more difficult, she was only interested in lady dragons. Not that there was anything wrong with liking lady dragons, but it was just an annoyance trying to flirt to a pretty gal only to learn she has her eyes set on a guy elsewhere. Or that they’re already taken by another gal. And the few that she has have all ended with both parties losing interest in the other. A mutual agreement but it still annoyed Charlea that she has yet to find a good partner. Especially one that was compatible with her life style. Charlea was more partial to having a bit of order in life. She expected to live her life a certain way, expected events to happen in a certain way, expected a lot of things that don’t really happen. It is perhaps a naïve way of seeing life but Charlea is a stubborn woman and is slow to changing her mind. It is because of this that she has a hard time devoting any of her time to most activities and chores. They’re mostly done with a grumble and left halfway done. When something does have order, she finds enjoyment in them. The few of which are cooking and baking. There is some ambiguity in these two arts but there is some order to them that makes it enjoyable. You can’t make an omelet without eggs, so you must use eggs. Can’t make cookies without butter and sugar, so you must use them. It is these little absolutes that bring a smile to Charlea’s face. Not to mention she can’t stay angry for too long after she bakes some fresh cookies. And what goes better with cookies than a nice book to read? In her corner of the lair, Charlea possess a reasonably large library with which she stores her books. Whatever piques her interest are stored in this room: cookbooks, romance novels, dictionaries, guidebooks on how to travel through the Wasteland, knitting and crocheting, and just a lot of conflicting books that are neatly ordered in her room. After sometime, she has allowed other dragons to borrow her books but constantly remind them to return them in mint condition. If they’re overdue she personally finds them and demands her books back. They are hers after all and she wants things to be where she wants them to be. Bio by Shadylex
