Biography
Rank 3
As Vicente trudged along the battlefield, taking stock of his victories and picking his prizes, he noticed something very peculiar, a dragon he had not ended. The Pearlcatcher was greatly wounded, but breathing. The gargantuan beast inspected him, and quickly noticed that in place of it's pearl, was an egg. He was sure that it would be a dud, being out of warmth for so long, but the gleaming shell, covered in crimson, called to him. With a swift swipe the old owner was no more, and Vicente returned with his prize.
For several moons the egg sat with the one who claimed it in his hoard of horrors, the only one daring to inspect it other than the blood stained one was Banon, their intrigue getting the better of them, sensing something within the dried shell but seeing no signs of life. The lifeless one set up a vigil over the egg, unsure if anything would come of it.
It was not until an intruder, Castor, attempted to steal Vicente's prizes that the egg showed signs of life. The Guardian dispatched with the Skydancer quickly, and the splatter of life that landed on the egg caused it to stir. Falcera removed the orb and transferred it to the broodmothers, and when it came time to hatch, Taran emerged.
She is a mystery to the other dragons. Through all the clans lessons, she never spoke. Some think she doesn't know how, or doesn't understand them when they try to converse with her, others believe she is mute, but one thing's for sure; she is one hell of a huntress. She reveled in the lessons that Bregor taught her, before latching onto Vicente to copy his brutal ways. For one for small, she is strong. The beast treats her as one of his own, and the two are quite a sight to behold. Maybe it was all the time her egg spent around his low growls that influenced her mind, maybe it was the long time it took to hatch. Banon watches over the young Skydancer, determined to discover her origins.
